With the twinkling glow of fairy lights and the warm welcome from Father Joseph we invited the community of Ashford to our remembrance service, in what was a beautiful evening filled with music from not only the wonderful Choir of St. Hilda’s but the talented Rebeca Jones-Harpist. A heartfelt thank you to all who were involved and importantly to those who attended....

A special well done to the four Lodge Brothers branches who held coffee mornings to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support; together they managed to raise over £500! Although we were unable to welcome people in to the branch for a cuppa and a chat, our takeaway coffee and cake proved just as popular. A huge thank you to everyone for their donations and support.

The sun was certainly shining on the Ashford ladies last Saturday. With handmade bouquets being sold and hot chocolate on the go, Funeral Arranger Penny and District Manager Victoria had a lovely morning enticing people into St Matthew’s Christmas Fayre. A big thank you to our ducks as once again they proved popular with children AND this time adults getting a tad competitive!
