Each year, the Englefield Green Village Residents Association marks the Christmas season by erecting a tree in St Jude’s Road. For the past two years, staff from the local branch of Lodge Brothers have served tea, coffee and mince pies to those who gather to sing and witness the ‘Lighting Up of the Green’.

Ashford Memorials recently supplied a commemorative bird bath in memory of the late Mr Leslie Smith who was a resident of Fordbridge House, a special needs centre in Ashford. The bird bath now takes pride of place in the gardens of the home.
