We just wanted to express our thanks to you for the caring and efficient service we received during the difficult days that followed our Mum’s death. Although we had already done a funeral plan for mum, we still had no idea where to start- arranging dates, church etc etc. The service received was just great and also the funeral itself was perfect, thank you all so much, it was very much appreciated.

My mother’s funeral took place last Friday and as a family we used the services of one of the Lodge Brothers’ branches – G Boutell & Son at Byfleet.  We found all the staff very professional both in the way they helped us arrange the funeral and the way they conducted themselves on the day.  In particular we had contact with Linda and Clare in the office and we found them to be very professional, approachable and helpful in the way they raised items that we hadn’t thought of and the way they dealt with everything.  My brother and I hadn’t arranged a funeral before but they certainly made the whole daunting task a lot easier and put our minds at rest.

Thank you for your feedback letter & card and the opportunity to thank all your members of staff. From the moment we walked in the door of your premises, to the collection of the flowers to be delivered to the Care Home in the village, we have been treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism that you could ever meet. Thanks must go to Claire Nightingale for all her kindness and patience with us, nothing was too much trouble and it was a pleasure to have someone who could give clear and helpful advice. Our thanks must also go to a great team leader, Keith Hopkins and the whole of the team, who on the day of our Mother’s funeral were so kind, courteous and respectful to the funeral party.  We were particularly flattered by the kind gesture of walking the coffin from our house to the church. What was going to be a very difficult day for us was made so much easier by a lovely professional body of people, please convey our thanks to all of them.
