Each year, all the branches of Lodge Brothers Funeral Directors place a tree in their windows and invite those families who have lost a loved one in that year to attach a 'remembrance card' and give thanks for the life of the one they have lost.

As well as all the poppies, a wreath and flag in pride of place is a photograph of her Grandfather, Fred Bowden who was in the Royal Tank Regiment in 1941....

On Sunday 6th September 2015, around 300 people met at Arnside to walk across Morecombe Bay in memory of Dean Thompson who died in 2008 of bone cancer aged 19 years. In the 7 years since Dean’s death, his family have raised £70,000 for the teenage cancer trust at Christies in Manchester.

Lodge Brothers in Windsor treated the managers from several of the local Nursing Homes to an evening at the racecourse last week.

Lodge Brothers Windsor celebrated the lighting of their Christmas tree this week with a blessing carried out by the Reverend Rosie Webb.

A special Sunday service was held at St Stephens Church in Windsor at 10am on Sunday 9th November, commemorating all those who fought in the World Wars and other conflicts. The service was conducted by Father John Quick.

Like many other Lodge Brothers branches, Windsor branch now have their WWI commemorative window display on show.
The display features newspapers and press cuttings, postcards, books and information from the era. The main poppy wreath in the centre features the names of the servicemen of Windsor who were killed in action.
All the information was obtained from the Garrison Church.
