Burvale Cemetery – Tony Hemsley Retires

After 34 years of service Tony, the resident grave digger at Burvale Cemetery is retiring. It’s definitely the end of an era but not to worry, Tony isn’t going far, he is remaining on-site as the steward of the cemetery but will now be concentrating on his love of motorbikes! We hope he enjoys our present of a bottle of “Gentlemen Jack” to celebrate his long service! Tony, you will be missed!...

The 70th anniversary of V.E Day has been marked by Lodge Brothers branches throughout the region. Lodge Brothers ‘Pool Challenge’ Raises Funds for Christ Church Esher
