In my generation of Funeral Directing, I can honestly say that the speed, breadth and depth of this latest global Covid-19 virus is like nothing else I have ever experienced.
Since 1780 Lodge Brothers has proudly helped and supported families at their time of need and we stand ready to help you now. During this time of uncertainty, we will remain open and our experienced, caring staff will continue assisting families during this critical time.
Our hearts and thoughts go out to those infected by this virus, and to those whose lives have been temporarily changed due to the recent changes affected by Covid-19.

For those wishing to visit us
While the Covid-19 virus requires all of us to be more mindful, the safety and wellbeing of our clients, their families, friends and our staff is of the utmost importance so our doors are locked to enable safe social distancing. Please contact us by telephone in the first instance and we respectfully ask you only visit if essential.
In response to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, we are asking all people entering our premises to observe the following safety protocols:
- Only 2 people will be allowed to enter
- Please observe a safety distance from our staff of at least 2 metres.
- Please advise us if you or any of your family have been diagnosed or are showing symptoms of coronavirus.
- Please advise if the person whose funeral you are arranging was diagnosed or showing symptoms of coronavirus.
- Please wash your hands with soap and water upon entering the building.
Losing a family member or friend is never easy. We are fully aware that these unsettling times can amplify feelings of grief and anxiety. We would therefore like to reassure our clients and bereaved families, that we are here to provide support and help begin the healing process.
Making Funeral Arrangements
If you have recently lost a loved one, or wish to discuss a pre-arrangement, our teams are here for you. If you are unable to plan arrangements in person at one of our funeral homes due to travel restrictions, health concerns or any other reason, our caring team can help you make the arrangements virtually via telephone or e-mail as well as the good old fashioned Royal Mail. Every situation can and will be accommodated.
