Thank you Susan – It was a nice experience, right through from Reg and Chris collecting my Dad. Everyone was very sympathetic and professional. The service went very well. Derek (the minister) gave a personal service. It was a good turnout given that Dad was 85! The flowers looked lovely! Keith was very professional too. And you’ve been there to help and guide every step of the way.

Susan, It couldn’t have been better! It went so well. We were superbly looked after by you and Paul from start to finish. From the start the care home recommended Lodge Brothers. It was nice (if you can use such a word in this context), Paul doing the ‘in charge’ bit, having begun the arrangements. The Order of Service was lovely, everyone commented on how nice they looked. To the unsung members of the team, they were marvellous with Dad. It was a daunting task, not having done this before but it all came together beautifully. Thank you for all the efforts of the Lodge Brothers team.

It went very well, thank you Susan. Paul did it very well. There was a good turnout for an 98 year old, about 29 attended.

The funeral went very well last Thursday and we think we did Dad justice. Indeed, one of those attending said it was the best ‘sending off’ he had been to! The bugler was also appreciated as being very apt and both he, and the organist, played well. Many thanks for all your help in arranging everything and making it all run smoothly.
