Branch Testimonials: Surbiton

I had always been impressed when attending local funerals directed by Lodge Brothers so when my father died we decided to approach their Surbiton branch. Our contact there, Jane, was brilliant and extremely supportive at a very difficult time for us. We had specifically requested one of the family who owns the business, Robert Lodge, to be the Funeral Director, and as I had hoped their services were excellent.
Certainly recommended for what is never an easy topic to discuss.

Everything went just as I wanted it too, very professional and the staff were very kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Myself and my family will always remember what a lovely service you provided. I would highly recommend Lodge Brothers.

I just wanted to tell you how wonderful the whole day has been for my Mum’s funeral.
How professional and dignified Reg and his team were. My Dad was amazed at how they stopped the busy traffic to allow the cortege out onto the dual carriageway from his home. Not the easiest of junctions to get out from, they did this with military precision, all the gentlemen standing to attention.
They drove slowly down the middle of the dual carriage way to the church, with people stopping to look, That made Dad feel so proud. When they arrived at the church everyone wore a dash of pink and the church was packed with 150 people.
We were so surprised to see you standing outside the branch as we passed by. What a lovely touch.
Reg and his team could not have looked after us better and the sun shone. It was the most perfect day.
I am so please we came to Lodge Brothers, thank you for everything you did for us and thank you for looking after Mum.

Further to my call early, I wanted formally to record my thanks for the way my Father’s funeral went. Everything was just as we would have wished. Please pass on my thanks to Paul, the conductor, who handled everything with great sensitivity and dignity. That the weather also played ball was a bonus. Many thanks.

I visited the cemetery today and was really delighted with the memorial for my Aunty.

Thank you for your help, the colour of the stone, shape and the colours of the lettering are perfect.
