To Mia and the Team at Lodge Brothers,
Words cannot express our thanks to you all. Your compassion, caring and consideration helped us all so much in the sad days following R’s passing. Xenos and the gentlemen who attended to our needs were amazing. They reassured our sons & nephews about carrying their Dad/Uncle into the chapel, no pressure, but always kind words and support.
To all the team at Lodge Brothers,
We would like to thank you all for all your help and support in looking after us and guiding us through this tough time. You all did such an amazing job looking after our beautiful boy Aaron.
What a truly wonderful send off he had, everything was perfect from start to finish and still continues. You helped us through.
We have now had time to reflect following the passing of my Mother on the 26th August 2017, and although at 92 years and suffering from Dementia and living in a Nursing home for the past 4 years it still hit the family with sadness as you can imagine.
Mia, on behalf of my Stepfather and myself, I have to say a huge thank you to Lodge Brothers of Sunbury, to Kevin, James and the Funeral Team on the day and of course not least yourself.
From the moment we walked into Sunbury Kevin and yourself made us feel at total ease and gently took us through the arrangements thoroughly, timely and at our pace. But it never stopped there, you contacted us on a couple of occasions and made sure all our needs were met and then on the day James and the Funeral team guided us through the day. I know, like us, my Mother would have appreciated the professionalism of the Lodge Brothers Team.
Through my many years of Association with Acacia Cricket Club I have known Bill, Robert and Beverley for a number of years and they should be very proud of the Sunbury Team as I’m sure they are.
Once again Mia thank you for your time and genuine kindness during our grieving.
The family wishes to thank you for all you have done for us.
Mia you have made a sad and painful situation so much easier to bear by lightening our load considerably with your efficiency and friendliness. We will be eternally grateful to you.
Dear Darren & Mia,
Thank you so much for all the help & work you did for my dear friends funeral.
Just to say thank you so much for the wonderful service you gave us in the planning of our R*****’s funeral, it was truly a perfect day for a wonderful Husband, Father and Grandfather.
Kind, Compassionate and Professional. Outstanding service from start to finish, it felt like it was a friend helping us rather than a business when our beloved Aunt/Surrogate Mum passed away. The empathy and genuine caring nature from Mia helped us tremendously to give our Mum the send off she deserved, but more importantly wanted. I would definitely recommend and have recommended to others already. Little things down to the Final Journey and colour of the ties worn by the Staff on the day, made the experience less scary and daunting rather than the usual black and “grim reaper’ style.
From the moment we walked through the door on the dreaded day, we knew we had come to the right place, we knew that Mia and the team at Lodge Brothers would take good care of R***.
But more importantly, it was the after funeral care and compassion that has been shown by Mia and Lodge Brothers. So thank you Mia you are a credit to your profession, a credit to Lodge Brothers and someone we would highly recommend to anyone who faces the daunting task of organising a funeral.
I would like to thank you and Lodge Brothers for providing such excellent service for my late wife’s funeral.
Your help in making the arrangements beforehand is much appreciated as is the smooth operation on the day which was provided in such a professional, sympathetic and appropriate manner. My family and K**’s would also wish me to pass on their appreciation.
I wanted to say, on behalf of my family, how delighted we all were with the arrangements and support you and the Lodge team provided at a difficult time. We were all happy with the day, which was dignified and moving. Dad would have been pleased with it all. My mother was dreading it, but found it celebratory and actually enjoyed the day. Your wise and thorough guidance made this happen. Many thanks for all your support.
With respect to the funeral of R****, I write to express my appreciation of the service.
Although slightly unusual (as funerals go) it was conducted with suitable dignity and feeling.
I think all members of the family felt it was a fitting tribute.
