I have to say I was glad my friend recommended me to come use you for my husbands funeral. As you saw, I was not expecting his passing and I was so upset but you made sure I was okay and looked after me. You even found that really obscure piece of music for us and I didn’t think you would.You even popped round one evening on your way home, I don’t think that is part of your job but I did appreciate it, thank you. Could you please pass on my thanks to Victoria (McKeegan) for taking the service, she was a perfect choice I couldn’t have wished for better.

Georgina, you know this is the first time I have ever come across death, I didn’t know where to start but your men, who came to the house to take my Dad away, did all they could to reassure me and said you would look after me and they gave me your details and told me to call. You were so good at explaining the whole process but because I was in shock I just couldn’t take it all in and you had to repeat it over and over.
I got through the funeral with the help of my friend and my brother and you. You, Georgina, were always calling me to check that I was okay. Thank you for that.

The family and I would like to thank you for everything, especially helping my Son with the initial enquiry. As you know my wife and I were on holiday when we heard the news about my Mother and we are grateful to you for calling us, while we were abroad, to update us. It all came together when we returned.

The family came into the branch following the funeral to sing the praises of the team and asked that I pass on their congratulations for a job extremely well done. The family were particularly impressed with the way 6 roses were set out on a table for them to lay where ashes were previously scattered for another family member. Everyone involved was very professional and the family can’t thank them enough.
They went on to say that Martin Shaw was the nicest man they could care to meet and they were so pleased I sent him to them as a celebrant, he was wonderful and they couldn’t have asked for better.

Thank you for all your help in arranging my Mother-in-Laws funeral and for looking after us too. Thank you also for being so accommodating and allowing members of the family to attend the chapel of rest at different times.

Thank you for all you did regarding my brother’s funeral, it went very smoothly. Martin the Celebrant was very good at organising the service and looking after the friends who wanted to pay a tribute
