Dear Susan, On behalf of my sister and me I wanted to thank you for all your help and advice with the arrangements for Mum’s funeral. Our very special thanks too for making her look so lovely for her final farewell. Though Friday was a sad day, we could not have asked for a more perfect farewell – everything was just as we hoped. Reg looked after us so well – I can see why you were glad he was assigned to us on the day. Despite the circumstances, it was a pleasure to meet you Susan and deep gratitude for all you did.

Dear ‘Lodge Brothers’, Thank you for the arranging of the funeral.  Susan, thank you for being so compassionate, respectful and helpful. You guided us gently through every single process.  The flowers were out of this world! They were just as we had imagined them to look, and more! **** would have loved them.  Bill Wilde gave **** such dignity on his final journey and looked after us with aplomb.  As for Colin (Irwin), his eulogy was carried out with such compassion and thoughtfulness that ****’s essence was captured superbly. This left **** to be honoured in no better way.

From the first call we made, when the prompt and highly professional attention we received from your colleagues even in the early hours of the morning was such a comfort for my youngest sister and me, to the subsequent organisation and the funeral itself, we have been so grateful for, and impressed by, the efficient and professional levels of service we have experienced.  Thank you so much for enabling us to provide my dad with such a lovely and fitting farewell.
