I am just writing to let you know how pleased we were with the way the funeral went last Friday.
Richard and his team did a great job, arriving punctually, guiding us from one formal part of the funeral to the next keeping us to schedule without rushing the proceedings. It was very reassuring to receive a phone call from Richard the evening before the funeral too. It turns out that he directed F****’s father’s funeral years ago – so we felt that there was a link between the two.
We were very grateful for the preparation and support from yourself and your colleague throughout the booking process. Your sensitive handling of our visit to the Chapel of Rest the day before the funeral made a difficult occasion feel much easier than anticipated.
We felt that R***’s body had been prepared with great care and looked very serene and peaceful.
Father Chris conducted a beautiful Mass and was very helpful in providing support for planning the order of service.
Everything went smoothly at the burial, the floral tribute was just as we expected from the order book – adapted as we had requested.
We shall certainly be able to recommend your service to others.

My daughter and I would like to thank you and Lodge Brothers for all the help you gave us when organising my sister-in-law’s funeral.

Jackie at your Englefield Green branch was so good at helping with what we needed to do and finding a sympathetic celebrant.

The phone call we had the night before from Reg was a lovely touch and he was a kind and supportive presence on the day.

Finally the flowers were beautiful and just what we asked for.

This was the second funeral you have organised for us and both were excellent.

I have just attended a service at Woking Crematorium and I would like to congratulate your firm on the part you played in a most moving and well arranged occasion.

Mr Keith Hopkins was the conductor on the day and again he showed great kindness and ensured that we were fully aware of how the funeral was to proceed.

Because of illness Martin Shaw stepped in at the last moment and conducted the funeral service. He too was very professional.

May I thank the staff at Englefield Green once again for their immense kindness at this time.

I’m not sure we thanked you and your team for all the support and help you gave us since my Mother passed away. All three of us really appreciated it. The funeral itself went incredibly smoothly and my Mother’s friends all said she would have loved it – which I guess is all we can ask for. So thank you.
