Whiteley Village Races
Lodge Brothers again sponsored Whiteley’s annual race day this year. Children participated in numerous races early in the morning. Before a fun run and the important 5k and 10k races. Lodge Brothers District Manager Xenos Foster was again in attendance giving out the Lodge branded medals to all of the participants. Last year’s winner of the Men’s 10k Adam Bennett sadly could not repeat his winning heroics in the 10k, coming in 3rd in a time of 39m.15s, however his wife Lara finished 1st in the women’s 10k with a time of 48m31s. Not to be outdone Adam’s mother Liz finished the 5k in 33.24s. All of this was overseen by Adam’s Grandmother and legendary villager Elisabeth Whiteing! All pictured, along with Adam’s nephew Raphael…4 generations together at a sunny Whiteley Village, just as it should be!
