St Matthews Church Barn Dance

More than 60 parishioners of St Matthews Church, Yiewsley, enjoyed a Barn Dance, sponsored by Lodge Brothers, on Saturday 8th June.
The event was held as part of a huge fund-raising effort to finance a substantial building project to enhance the community rooms, kitchen and toilet block at the town centre church.
Parish vicar Rev Richard Young hosted the event, which was driven along at a lively pace by a three-piece band whose enthusiasm coaxed everyone onto the floor for some often chaotic dancing!
A break for a buffet meal was greeted with some relief by the elder members of the assembly!
The balloons, provided by District Manager Peter Breslin, were well received by the youngsters attending.
