Puzzle Competition at Gracewell Nursing Home with Pupils from Charters School

Last Thursday 7^th November, Diane and Sam from Lodge Brothers Ascot branch went along to Gracewell Nursing Home to visit some of the residents and hold a Puzzle Competition. They were joined by some pupils from Charters School.

Diane explained, “We all chatted easily with the residents while enjoying a hot chocolate and racing to complete the puzzle. It got quite competitive between the tables! It was also one of the residents’ birthday, so out came a big chocolate cake and a guitar, we all sang happy birthday followed by some old songs such as pack up your troubles. It was such fun!”
