Lodge Brothers Support Windsor Homeless Charity & Maidenhead Cowshed
Lodge Brothers, the family you can turn to. This is our belief and ethos and it comes in a variety of shapes and forms.
As funeral directors we are here to support and guide people in our community who have lost a loved one, by arranging and conducting funerals, designing, making and placing memorials, as well as by holding annual remembrance services. Many of these are expected of us, but we always try to go further.
In our Windsor branch, one of the ways in which we support our local community is by being a drop off point for clothing for the Windsor Homeless Project and the (Maidenhead) Cowshed; two charities that work closely together.
The Windsor Homeless Project aims to enable homeless and vulnerable people to rebuild their lives in and around Windsor through emotional and practical support.
The Cowshed is a crisis charity that provides clothing and other items for individuals and families in Berkshire experiencing hardship. They offer their services to people from all faiths and none, and work in partnership with support services such as GPs, health visitors, churches, charities and social service agencies.
Lodge Brothers’ Windsor branch has opened its doors to receive donations of clean, good quality clothes on behalf of these charities since November 2021 and we will continue to fulfil this role for the foreseeable future.
If you wish to help too by donating any items, please do so during office hours, 08.30am-5pm at 47 St Leonards Road, Windsor, SL4 3BP.
