The good folk of Shepperton held their annual ‘Big Tree Night’ Market Fayre on Wednesday 11th December; and the local branch of Lodge Brothers was well represented.
District Manager, Richard Leachman and his team set up a stall selling mince pies, mulled wine and Christmas biscuits raising funds for a local cause. The hundreds of people who braved the cold evening enjoyed all that the Fayre had to offer, as they continued their preparations for Christmas. and the warmth of the Lodge Brothers staff certainly helped!
Branch arranger, Lindsay Tuckfield and her husband Barry, along with relief arranger, Kate Thulborn, helped Richard raise £350 in just three hours. The funds will go towards the repair of the wall at St Nicholas Church in the village.
The Manager said, “Thanks go to a great team for a tremendous effort on a cold night”.
