Lodge Brothers Ashford Christmas Memorial Service at St Hilda’s

On Sunday 15th December, Lodge Brothers in Ashford held their annual Christmas Memorial & Thanksgiving Service at St Hilda’s Church, to a congregation of nearly 250 people.
The service, which was led by Rev Chris Rogers, featured musical pieces by vocal soloist Anna Goodhew, saxophonist Robert Goodhew, and various Christmas pieces from the Egham Brass Band.
The congregation were invited to come forward to light a candle in memory of those who had died. Then, after the service, refreshments were served
Richard Leachman explained, “The evening was well received by the many who attended, as the service is a poignant start to their Christmas. The lit candle represented a space at their festive table. No-one will be forgotten in their homes”.
