Feltham & Bedfont Carnival Saturday 8th June
The Feltham & Bedfont Carnival took place this month, thanks to the help of Bethany Church in Bedfont for providing the venue.
There were several stalls selling their wares, teas, coffee and cold drinks, cakes and biscuits.
Local M.P. Seema Malotra arrived and spent time chatting with visitors.
Sue Hall, Funeral Arranger at Lodge Brothers Hanworth, was invited to assist the judge in the Dog Show.
Sue explained, “The highlight of the day for me was a little clipped Yorkshire terrier called ‘Sally’. She was as bright as a button, and as soon as I sat down she decided I had the most comfortable lap and leapt up for a cuddle.
“The category I supported came down to a choice of two dogs: the decision was between what was once a homeless dog that lived on the street with his owner, who was sold for £150.00 to his new mum, or a dog that was once kept outside, kicked, abused and scarcely fed.
“The judge & I decided on the latter, and that turned out to be Sally, and her new Mum, Chris. That little girl left footprints on my heart – I was thrilled!”
