Baking for Meadow House Hospice’s Garden Party

Lodge Brothers love to get involved with community projects. So when Jacqueline, Ealing branch arranger, got the call from Meadow House Hospice requesting a donation of cakes for their Annual Garden Party on Saturday 8thJune, she couldn’t wait to contact her fellow baker Bernice. They both baked a lovely selection of cakes and delivered them to Meadow House Hospice where they received a very warm welcome. Lynne May, Voluntary Fund Raising Manager, sent a lovely email to let them know that everybody loved the cakes and they had a really successful day raising just over £3,000.
