A Cracking Donation

Jessop House of Chiswick were grateful of a donation of 50 Christmas crackers to compliment the residents annual Christmas lunch, Lodge Brothers of Brentford kindly donated the crackers after being tipped off by a Jessop House resident.
Margaret Ayers MBE, Warden at Jessop House, commented;
“Unfortunately nothing comes cheap in this day and age and whenever we plan an event we have to review the budgets, so it is always nice, when local businesses offer to help us out. When Paul and Val at Lodge Brothers offered to buy our Christmas crackers this year we were so grateful, the lunch was well attended and all the residents loved the crackers, in fact the rest of the day was spent comparing jokes and making each other laugh! ”
