At this time of year churches throughout the country hold services to remember and celebrate the lives of those who have died. At St Stephen’s it is an opportunity to bring the community together in an uplifting service of Remembrance where the families have asked for the names of their loved ones to be read out. A quiz was held on Tuesday 26th September at the Duke of Connaught Pub in Windsor to raise money for the Spencer Denney Centre in Dedworth, a centre for the local elderly in the area.

Lodge Brothers of Woking have recently arranged to sponsor The Westfield Bowls Club for their 2017/2018 season and to celebrate this new partnership the local cricket club played the bowls club in a friendly match on Sunday 17th September.
