Morris dancers enjoy celebrating St George’s Day, because it is traditionally the start of the season for “dancing out”.
Caroline at Ham branch has displayed her Morris Dancing costume, including bells, hankies, stick, tin whistle and melodeon, along with some lovely photos of dancers and musicians in full swing!

Did you know that St David was a Welsh Bishop, and was made a Saint after his death on 1st March 589 A.D.? Rumour has it he was a vegetarian who ate only bread, herbs and vegetables, and drank only water. Further history behind St David’s Day have been showcased by Caroline, our Ham arranger, in this year’s wonderful tribute to Wales....
