Carol and Pat our Branch Funeral Arrangers at Molesey Branch, created a personal window display for Remembrance Day last month.
Pat’s uncle, Private A Knight of the 7th Bn, London Regiment died “in the field” on the battlegrounds of France, aged just 19 on 25 July 1918 leaving his distraught parents, Alexander and Elizabeth. He is buried in a War Grave in Contay British Cemetery in France.

Each year, all Lodge Brothers branches invite clients past and present to come in and write a Remembrance Tag with a message to a lost loved one, which can then be placed on the ‘Tree of Remembrance’. This simple act is often of great comfort to the recently bereaved.

On a cold Saturday afternoon, a small group of hardy souls gathered to celebrate the lighting of the Christmas Tree in the heart of Englefield Green Village.

All six of our Hillingdon region branch funeral arrangers, together with District Manager Adrian Moore, attended a floristry demonstration recently at our florists ‘Longacres’ in Shepperton.

On Saturday 28th November J Monk & Sons held their annual Remembrance Carol Service at the URC Church in Guildford. This service is held each year to remember loved ones that have been lost.
Reverend Philip Jones, Father Alex Hill and Jacqueline Drake-Smith all gave up their valuable time to attend the service and each gave a reading and an address.
