A beautiful service was held on Sunday 3rd December at St Mark's Church, for the residents of Whiteley Village and their families who have lost friends and loved ones during the year. Reverend Julie Haworth conducted a wonderfully heartfelt service for the 30 people in attendance. Lodge Brothers own Xenos Foster and Victoria Kibble contributed with a bible reading and a poem recital.

Just as we head into Advent and the run up to Christmas, we remember the Patron Saint of Scotland for all of our local friends with a Tartan heritage.
St Andrew's Day is sometimes forgotten in the midst of festive preparations, but not at Lodge Brothers. The staff at our Lightwater branch placed some poignant words and simple flowers to recognise this special day....

The Christmas Street Fair in Sunningdale always happens in November! This year Lodge Brothers set up their stall, with mulled wine and mince pies being the order of the day, to raise some money for a local charity. Branch Arranger, Dawn Hazelton was helped by Windsor Branch Arranger, Jill Palmer and soon-to-be Arranger Susan Reeves, to raise £80 for Bagshot-based charity, Sebastian’s Action Trust.

Each year the village of Lightwater comes together to celebrate Christmas with ‘The Fayre in the Square’ in early December. The week before, the lights are switched on, and Lodge Brothers Funeral Directors have their part to play.
