To denote and honour the significant 800th anniversary and sealing of the Magna Carta in June 1215, a timeline of events and pictures were on display in Lodge Brothers Englefield Green branch.
The timeline included the year 1780 thereby heightening awareness and relevance of Lodge Brothers’ own place in history, spanning over 200 years.

During May, Carol Disspain our funeral arranger at Molesey branch, carried out her annual door-to-door Christian Aid Collection.
On behalf of St Paul’s Church in Hook, she delivered then collected Christian Aid envelopes from 150 houses in the area.
This year the total collected was £197.25 which was a very good result.

Allan James ‘ Wag’ of Cobham travelled on his final journey from his home in a Triumph Thunderbird Motorcycle Hearse to Randalls Park Crematorium for the funeral service.
‘Wag’ moved from Liverpool with his family as a young boy and lived in Downside, before moving into Cobham about 47 years ago. He trained and worked as a carpenter until his retirement. He was a very well know member of the local community,...

On Monday 18th May, Lodge Brothers District Manager Richard Leachman was invited to give a presentation for ‘Dying Matters Week’ at Merlewood Nursing Home in Virginia Water.
