Mrs Fan Moore, widow of Brigadier Jock Moore, and proud, loving and beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, died in Lightwater on 4th February this year, aged 97.
Fan’s maiden name was Dill, and she was born in Bermuda, in the midst of a hurricane in August 1915. She was the second youngest in a family of six, one of the oldest Bermudan families, whose ancestors from Ireland first settled in the 1660s.

Courtege of 10 limousinesOn Friday 19th July, Lodge Brothers conducted the funeral of the late Ellen White, Matron of Sunbury Nursing Homes for over 46 years, who died peacefully at St Peters Hospital Chertsey on Sunday 7th July 2013, at the age of 88.
The funeral mass was held by Father Robert Hamilton at St Ignatius of Loyola RC Church in Sunbury.

On Sunday 14th July, Jill Palmer, funeral arranger at Lodge Brothers Windsor, took part in a 1.4 mile swim between Boscombe Pier and the main pier at Bournemouth, in support of the British Heart Foundation. Jill recently arranged the funeral of a young mum, and wanted to raise awareness of heart disease in the young.
