St Mary the Virgin is a 13th-century Anglican parish church in Northolt. It is one of London’s smallest churches, with a nave measuring only 44 feet (13 m) by 25 feet (7.6 m). Lodge Brothers & Wickenden Funeral Directors have recently become the local coordinator for Preemies UK, a ‘not-for-profit’ organization that aims to keep over 100 neonatal intensive care units across the country supplied with ‘tiny togs for tiny tots’. The charity relies on the handy-work of volunteers as the smaller-sized garments are not produced by any major companies.
