Each year, Lodge Brothers holds a series of Christmas Memorial Services, giving the families that they have served through the year, the opportunity to come and light a candle and remember their loved ones missing at the table this Christmas-time.

One of the Church of England churches in Ashford held a Christmas Fayre on Saturday, and asked Lodge Brothers not only to have a stall but to open the event too. St Matthew’s Church held the Fayre in their hall in Muncaster Close and Andrew Lodge, one of the Directors of the Company declared the event open at 11am. The stall sold mulled wine and mince pies for charity.

The incredibly popular annual Carol Concert was held this week at the Whiteley Village Hall. The decorations were again amazing, well done to Christine Goldsmith and her village team for another excellent effort!

Each year, all Lodge Brothers branches put up a 'Memory Tree', allowing people the opportunity to write a card to remember a loved one who has passed away. In Windsor, branch arranger Jill Palmer went one stage further and called on some local school children to help decorate her tree, and then last Sunday, she invited a local Minister to bless the tree in a short service at the branch in St Leonard's Road.
