Rising From The Ashes

A couple of months ago, there was a fire at the Windsor branch of Lodge Brothers. The damage was not extensive but sufficient to close the branch for a few weeks, while a new floor was laid near the door and a full refurbishment undertaken. Local Methodist minister Rev Margaret Dudley had suggested to funeral arranger Jill Palmer that Lodge Brothers might like the Chapel of Rest re-dedicated, and so recently in a small but lovely ceremony, Margaret did just that. Beverley Lodge, one of the Company directors, and District manager Richard Leachman joined a few other local residents who came along to lend their support. “Margaret is a good friend to Lodge Brothers” said Jill. “Flowers is a simple way to say thank you for her support”.
