Coffee time for Macmillan Cancer Support
As part of their campaign to support local and national charities, local funeral directors Lodge Brothers in Ashford are holding a coffee and biscuits event on Friday 25th September.
All proceeds raised will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support as part of their World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event. Everyone is welcome to pop into Lodge Brothers branch at 23 Church Road in Ashford for a coffee and chat between 1.30pm and 4.00pm.
Beverley Lodge, director of Lodge Brothers, said “We are pleased to be able to help with fund raising for Macmillan Cancer Support and hope local people will come along and support the charity whilst enjoying a cup of coffee and a chat. Hopefully we may be able to help dispel some of the myths and mysteries about what happens at a funeral directors.
