Help for Heroes Donations
Following the magnificent parade through Uxbridge to mark the return from Afghanistan of the 63 Squadron RAF Regiment, the Queens Squadron, a local funeral director is opening their doors to act as a collection point for donations to the Help for Heroes fund.
Walding & Son have arranged to have collecting boxes available for one week from Thursday 13th August. Anyone wishing to make a donation is welcome to call into their branch at 63 High Street, Uxbridge during normal opening hours.
Nigel Green-Smith, manager of Walding & Son, explained “As a local family owned business that has served Uxbridge families for over 100 years we believe it is important we try to help support local community events and charity appeals.”
