The funeral home at Unit 2, Technology House,
48-54 Goldsworth Road, Woking has a Chapel of
Rest as well as a private meeting room where families
can discuss funeral arrangements. The décor
and furnishings have been specifically designed
to provide comforting and informal surroundings
for bereaved families.
The branch is managed by Andrew Lodge along with
Elizabeth Renno, an experienced Funeral Arranger
who has worked in Woking for several years.
Speaking about the opening in Woking, Andrew
Lodge commented “As a local family owned
funeral directors, with branches throughout the
area, we are pleased to be able to serve local
families in Woking. The high quality of the décor
and the facilities at this branch are part of
our policy of providing the highest standards
of care and personal service to the local community.
Seven generations of the Lodge family have been
helping and advising local families in their time
of need. Unlike many local funeral directors,
formerly owned by local families, who have joined
major national groups we are proud to say that
after 225 years our company is still run by six
members of the Lodge family. We are the seventh
generation of funeral directors in our family,
a tradition we hope to continue for many generations
to come.”
