On the evening of Wednesday 20th May 2015, sporting Directors Andrew & Chris Lodge joined Sara Matthews at the annual Mundays Solicitors Charity 5K Run in Bushy Park.
This was the 8th annual event in aid of the Princess Alice Hospice, one of Lodge Brothers' many supported charities. In total 204 entrants managed to raise a staggering £8,000 in donations.

On Sunday 10th May, J Monk & Son sponsored an annual bowls competition at the Guildford Bowls club.
Known as the Open Triples, it is open to several local bowls clubs to participate.
The afternoon was well attended and the photograph shows Keith Hopkins presenting the trophy to winning the trio.

Cobham Branch joined in with other local shops and businesses to commemorate Victory in Europe Day last week.
Claire Nightingale, the branch Funeral Arranger, included in her window display a Union Flag along with some framed images of people celebrating and dancing in the street on 8th May 1945, Winston Churchill’s victory speech and some VE Day facts.

As with many other branches in the area, Lodge Brothers in Addlestone decorated their window last week with flags and bunting to commemorate the 70th anniversary of V.E Day, which was on Friday 8th May.

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of VE Day last week, Pat and Carol, the branch arrangers at East Molesey, made a collage of pictures and newspaper extracts from 8th May 1945 celebrations, together with a copy of the newspaper of the day with the headline reading “This is VE Day”.
